Self-Actuated Residential Automated Habitat, or S.A.R.A.H. (pronounced "Sarah"), is a model "smart house" designed by Douglas Fargo to anticipate the owner's needs and desires. The house was built in an underground nuclear disaster bunker that was repurposed multiple times. (Pilot, H.O.U.S.E. Rules)
History[]
Development[]
S.A.R.A.H.'s AI was built on top of B.R.A.D., Battle-Reactive Automatic Defense by Douglas Fargo. B.R.A.D. was also built upon an older-generation AI, a war-games program. All of these projects, including S.A.R.A.H., became abandoned projects. (H.O.U.S.E. Rules)
Jack Carter's Arrival[]
When Jack Carter became Eureka's sheriff, Fargo gave him S.A.R.A.H. to live in so that he could have an active beta-tester for the AI. (Pilot)
Technology[]
S.A.R.A.H. was built inside of an underground nuclear bunker. She has control over all doors, lighting, walls, speaker and telecom systems, and other systems.
